yep. it's my face again. you're the one who clicked on the about.

Hi. It's me. Laurisa...last name Dunn (yes, you'll for sure

butcher my first name the first 3 times you say it - it's okay!)

So here we are! I am first mom to two wild at heart, horse loving little girls and wife to my husband Tim, who is a Pastor (Life City) / home inspector (HomePro) / real estate agent (UC Ranch) / hunky cowboy. I spend work hours behind a desk plastered to a computer, with a cold brew coffee. I'm also the Marketing Director for a dental office/sleep + health outside of DC. We are often found in our newly renovated little slice of heaven with a working cow dog, Beau and two lazy beagles. You will also find me ninety percent of the time in a hat, outside, being gate girl and behind a piano. I spend far too many hours outside, creating never-ending to do list for the husband, and long walks down the target isles. My pride + joy is my relationship with Jesus, my kiddos, and my cowboy.

The most important work you will ever do will be within the walls of your home.

My family is my constant inspiration for all things creative. I never want to forget how it feels for my kids to fall asleep on my shoulder, spend hours talking at sunset, and going on crazy adventures. starting that business you have dreamed about or want to take it somewhere amazing? that's where I come in.

the biz.

Honestly - marketing was not on my radar- but art was. I finished my communications degree right out of high school and decided to start a brand new degree in the medical field. I have always loved to draw, design, paint, and play music for as long as I can remember. there's always been something so therapeutic and so fulfilling to create something out of nothing. but -plot twist- we went into the ministry and I finished my nursing degree in surgical health. UNTIl...we began a family and went into full time ministry. when the world shut down, our friends, farmers, ranchers, small businesses needed to go digital. thousand hills began in 2020. th was a long shot dream that I can't believe is my job and getting to brand family businesses totally fills my soul!

Are we speaking the same language?
